Anyone wishing to open an accommodation or entertainment establishment, or food outlet in eThekwini has to register with Business Licensing Department.
The steps involved in this process are really simple. All you need to do is:

- Accommodation Certficate - R574
- Amendment of a license – R127
- Change of Ownership / Transfer of a license – R547
- Duplicate of a license – R127
- Relief of a license condition – R167.84
